Jeffrey R. Aibara received his J.D. from New England School of Law, and has been a practicing attorney since 2002. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

A transactional real estate attorney specializing in bank representation, as well as representing clients buying or selling residential or commercial properties, Mr. Aibara has applied this knowledge base to move into other legal sectors over the span of his career. Currently, Mr. Aibara advises in all areas of law administered by the firm, with a focus on the following:

  • Real Estate: With a vast knowledge of title insurance issues, Mr. Aibara also has extensive experience in real estate financing, contracts, acquisitions, and construction, development and management agreements. He regularly represents and counsels both landlords and tenants in retail and office leasing, and has represented cooperative corporations, condominium associations and banking institutions as well.
  • Corporate & Small Business Law: Mr. Aibara is adept at drafting contracts to protect the legal rights of his clients in a variety of corporate and small business matters related to legal business communications, partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, venture capital financings, and sales of businesses, among others.
  • Finance Regulation: With extensive knowledge of fund formation and broker-dealer registration and compliance, Mr. Aibara provides specialized legal representation in the finance sector to hedge funds, investment advisers, broker-dealers, and commodity traders.
